SUCKING ARMS
The self-bearing sucking arm represents the best technical solution for welding smoke suction, gas, fumes, oil smoke, powders, etc. The polluted air is sucked up by a jointed little hood, it crosses the pipes realized in strong zinc-plated sheet, or inox, antiscratch painted or aluminum, it reaches, therefore, the high efficiency fan or the centralized piping of the system and from here to the air filtration system used in the specific applications. The pipes and the sucking little hood are joined together thanks to special jointed external joints with little die-casting arms in high resistance flexible tube that allow a simple and comfortable motion of the arm. Moreover, the arm is equipped with a fifth wheel that allows a rotation of 360° and a spring with a safety cable that lightens the motion of the same one. Given the reduced length of the flexible tube used in the elbows, there are remarkably inferior losses of cargo compared to other similar systems on the market. Smaller loss of cargo means inferior power demanded to the fan and therefore energetic saving, lower crossing speed and consequently contained noisiness. This type of arm has been planned and constructed in the full respect of the laws in force concerning the safety and the evacuation of the injurious smoke and/or substances that pollute work areas.
