ANTIFIRE PLANTS
IThe GM224MP2 central module, is a control plant for antifire systems, belonging to the modular type, expandible, planned for feeding and managing the sensors for fire survey (sparke, smoke, heat, flame detectors, etc.). It consists of a GM224MP2 module and the GMALM12A feeder. GM224MP2 Module is provided with 2 entrance lines (zones) with balanced absorption; it is possible to exclude the lines separately with display visualization of the state. It is provided with memory and an alarm meter. Separate exits for acoustic optical alarms, inside and outside self-fed; double consent exit independent from the main alarm relay; breakdown exit; alarm repetition exits for single line.

The GMSC242 spark detector is an antifire detector for installations on survey systems and spark and fire abolition for suction systems. This type of detector contains a particular sensor sensitive to the light (with particular sensibility to the ultraviolet and infrared zones) emitted by sparkes, flames, incandescent bodies ect.. Through a special electronic circuit studied purposely for this application, the optical element of the detector is able "to see" the sparkes passing in front of an optical window, with the right diameter, set on the detector container. It is provided with inner test lamp in order to carry out working tests directly from the system. The spark detector is used in the furniture factories, in the textile industry, and in other areas, where powder and smoke suction plants with collection silos have been installed.

For the extinction of the sparkes found along the suction piping it is normally used an electrovalve GMELV24 and 2 nozzle sprayers GMUGS34, set to the right distance from the spark detector. The nozzle GMUGS34 carries out a "fanwise" jet and therefore it must always be installed in pairs. The nozzle GMUGS120 carries out an "hollow cone" jet and can be installed singularly to the piping center.

In all the plants it is indispensable to install at least one ear-drum bell GMSI24 and a GMLP24 blinking for the acoustic optical warning inside the building. It is advisable to install also an external siren with blinking GMSE24 which will give the alarm also outside the building. In order to complet the system, it is important to equip it with a reserve feeding using batteries.
